Gundog Training with Milly the Cocker Spaniel.
It was great to see Adam and Milly the Cocker Spaniel for an update on their Gundog Training today. Adam has been working hard on his training but as he’s not attended lessons for sometime it was clear he was training some repetitive faults in to Milly, but nothing that couldn’t be resolved.
Milly is a head strong little dog that has a big heart and a strong desire to work. If given an inch she takes a mile so Adam and Milly have been sent home with some homework and a plan to have regular lessons.
It’s important to remember that in order to train our working dogs for the shooting field a regular training programme needs to be in place, just like training for a marathon if we don’t stick to the training programme something will slip.
