Is it the Right Decision to Buy a Dog/Puppy

It makes me wonder what people think when they decided to make a huge decision and buy a dog/puppy. Maybe it was that mad moment in their lives when they think “we need a dog to complete our family”, or the “yes ok kids you can have a dog”. No matter what the reason is you need to ask yourself, is it impulse or have you planned the whole process of owning a dog. From the moment your new dog/puppy arrives your life will change significantly. Sometimes people say it’s easy to have a child than a dog. With a child you can take it everywhere with you, with a puppy you are restricted to the duration you can leave them and when you can go out as you’re not always able to take them with you.

A classic example is Ralph a 10 month old Labrador. His owners decided it was time to get a dog. They thought lets get a Labrador as they are possibly the easiest to train, calm and loving. Ralph is totally the opposite. In fact you’ll never buy the calm, well balanced and obedient dog off the shelf. Everything about training a dog/puppy is about consistency, structure and boundaries. This little boy might look cute but trust me he’s got that mischievous streak in him.
