2nd October 2011 Gundog Training Group Morning and Gundog Photography Shoot.

As the shooting season is almost upon us you may be looking to polish up some areas of your training, or it may be that you are new to the working scene and wish to train your working dog to compete in scurries, field trials or retrieving game.

The gundog training morning session will be held at Goosnargh, Preston and will commence at 10:00am on Sunday 2nd October at a cost of £15 and will consist of an introduction to basic training and the foundations of training a working dog. I will be training novice handlers on the basic commands and importance of training working dogs.  Between training sessions there will be a break for refreshments.  For advanced handlers, I’ll be available to help with advice regarding any training problems they may be experiencing such as retrieval problems, quartering, whistle work or general gundog training problems.

On the day Andy Biggar of www.dog-photographer.co.uk will be present as my official photographer and will be capturing events throughtout the day.  His photographs will be available for viewing on his website should you wish to purchase any.  You can see his work on my website at www.gundog-training4u.co.uk Andy offers a truly wonderful and unique style of photography which gives a real insight into the way a gundog works in the field, he’s at the top of his game and it’s easy to see why.

This is the first of many gundog training morning designed to help with all your training needs. If you are interested please call me on 01772 690597 or 07843 283370. Alternatively you can email me at bark@gundog-training4u.co.uk.
